Uhm Tae Woong, Kim Min Jun, and So Yi Hyun To Star in Movie “Top Star”
Actors Uhm Tae Woong, Kim Min Jun, and So Yi Hyun have been cast in movie “Top Star”
It was recently revealed that the actors will star in the movie directed by actor Park Joong Hoon.
Uhm Tae Woong will play the role of Tae Sik, a manager from a star who is innocent, humble and very talented who shows different colors.
Kim Min Jun will play the role of the super star, and So Yi Hyun will play the role of producer Mi Na.
“Top Star” will be about a man named Tae Sik (Uhm Tae Woong), who is the manager of a super star Won Joo (Kim Min Jun), he then goes on to becomes a super star himself and become rivals with Won Joo. Mi Na who is a producer, will be the one that provokes these two men.
Like mentioned before, this movie is produced by veteran actor Park Joong Hoon. The actor has been in more 20 movies, but he has never appeared in a drama before. He also has ventured into MCing, when he hosted his own show in 2009.
No word on when the movie will start filming or when it will premiere.

Actor Uhm Tae-woong Becomes Father

Korean actor Uhm Tae-woong has become a father of a daughter at the age of 39.
Uhm’s wife and ballerina Yoon Hye-jin gave birth to their first child, a baby girl, at a hospital in Seoul Tuesday afternoon, an official with Uhm’s agency Sim Entertainment told TenAsia over the phone Wednesday.
Uhm was said that he is very happy with his first daughter that came in five months after his wedding this January, and both Yoon and their daughter are healthy.
An actor for 15 years now, Uhm made his debut in the entertainment industry in 1997 with a role in Korean comedy pic “The Happenings.”
He starred in numerous movies and dramas since then including 2009 MBC epic “The Great Queen Seondeok,” 2010 SBS romcom “Dr. Champ,” 2012 KBS revenge drama “Man from the Equator” and expanded his career to variety shows by appearing in KBS’s “2 Days 1 Night” in 2011.
Uhm’s next TV project is an upcoming KBS epic, tentatively titled “Sword and Flower,” set to premiere on July 3 and co-starring Kim Ok-vin and CNBLUE’s Lee Jung-shin.
